This product features a 3 part assignment over essential and nonessential adjective clauses. The product opens up with a quick recap over essential and nonessential clauses in their definition and their examples.
In the first part of this assignment, students are to simply identify the clauses being used, and there is a key provided for this portion at the bottom of the assignment on the last page, so be careful and to not distribute this!. In the second portion, students are to create original examples of sentences with nonessential clauses. Then, they are to turn those sample examples into essential clauses. Finally, students are to merge sentences together utilizing their knowledge and information gained from the previous two parts and a key is provided for this portion as well!
