3-200-21: Import of Sport-Hunted Trophies of Argali
This application can be used to apply for the import of a sport-hunted argali sheep trophies.
Process
- Please Note: While not required, we recommend that applications for argali trophy imports for the upcoming hunting season be submitted following May 1st.
- If you are requesting to import argali sheep trophies for your own personal use from the Republic of Mongolia, the Kyrgyz Republic (Kyrgyzstan) and the Republic of Tajikistan, you should complete this application form 3-200-21.
- If you are requesting the import of an argali trophy from any other country, you should complete application form 3-200-20.

Submit an Application
To submit an application online or through the mail, follow the instructions on our ePermits site.
To Complete This Form You Will Need the Following:
- A copy of any applicable foreign government permits or licenses that were required to remove this animal from the wild (if you have not hunted yet and do not currently hold any such permits or licenses please indicate so).
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service must make certain determinations under the U.S. Endangered Species Act before an import permit can be issued. If you have information (e.g., recent population surveys of argali in the area where you will hunt/have hunted; how the funds from license/trophy fees will be spent; what portion of the hunting fee will support conservation) to consider when making our findings, submit this information on a separate page with your application.
- If you are a broker or taxidermist applying on behalf of a U.S. hunter or foreign national, provide documentation to show you have a Power of Attorney to act on your client’s behalf.
